Well Met: Renaissance Faire and Hippies

Well Met is going to be released Monday. The academic look at Renaissance fairs and the "Counter Culture." I can't wait to read about what other people feel about warp bubble we were living.
The "Renaissance Pleasure Faire" was sometimes said with great mocking exaggeration in Berkeley among we the paid theatrical so-call talent who worked "The Faire."
If the 'Ren Fair' and my hippie friends were well met then there surely was some good old Shakespearean "ill met by moonlight" going on.  Living on the Faire site in Novato I say I saw lots Living History Center, Theme events, and Renaissance pleasure moonlight meeting both ill met and really well met.
The Hand Pi booth was a food booth...licences, permits, inspections and unspoken formula for kick-backs.
The Pi Hand, the name I only recently gave the group of early freaks  geeks that successfully pulled off the whole Hand Pies thing.
