Why cute Ben Ray Lujan is sweet on Val Kilmer I'll never know. But the daddy's boy congressman from New Mexico got Kilmer tickets for the Obama inauguration. Lardo Kilmer then paid a visit to the State Capital to give Ben Lujan Sr. a big kiss. Ben "The Rat" Lujan is Speaker of the House and Governor Bill Richardson's right hand man in the New Mexico legislature.

Kilmer, in a photo taken yesterday, has ballooned out while he has been floating the trial balloon that he might run for Governor of New Mexico. The only thing that would give Kilmer less of a chance of winning would be if he picked that other great New Mexican, Don Imus, as a running mate.

He is not well liked by his neighbors or Hispanics in general here in New Mexico.
